1-Day Riding Experience
An immersive introduction to the poetry of riding.

Our riding operation in Cusco is based in the stunning Andean mountains. For our shorter, one-day riding experience, we explore the beautiful Sacred Valley.
Before setting off, we take the time to introduce our horses to guests and explain their unique, smooth, four-beat lateral gait. We also ensure that riders understand the fundamentals of our riding style, which is rooted in the principles of classical riding. This includes the concept of collection, a deep, balanced seat, soft hands, and riding primarily from the seat.
Unlike many other outfitters, we require that our horses be ridden correctly—this is essential not only for maintaining their quality and responsiveness but also for ensuring their enthusiasm for the work.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey or refining years of experience, this is a day to inspire, inform, and connect you to the essence of Peruvian horsemanship — and the beauty that comes with it.

THE POETRY OF RIDING
In our booklet, Riding the Peruvian Paso Horse, we aim to explain how we ride our horses and, more importantly, why we ride them the way we do.
