Rides in Cusco

The legendary ruins of Machu Picchu, fabled lost city of the Incas, and purebred Peruvian Paso horses, the mount of the Conquistador - A magical combination.

Perol Chico offers riding tours from 2 to 12 days from our ranch located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, between Cusco and Machu Picchu. Our rides high in the Andes are offered from March till end of October. During the summer wet season (November-February) our ranch in the Sacred Valley is closed. During these months we offer wonderful coastal rides in Arequipa.

Rides in Arequipa

From the Peruvian–Ecuadoran border south to northern Chile, the west coast of South America has one of the Earth’s driest climates. Arequipa lies in a fertile valley at the foot of the imposing volcano "El Misti" and alongside the southernmost tip of Peru's Desert Coast. The climate of Arequipa is warm and rather dry all through the year and enjoys plenty of sunny weather, with daytime temperatures rarely dipping much below 20 °C (68 °F) or thereabouts.

Perol Chico offers some exceptional riding expeditions along the isolated desert of Arequipa to the Pacific coast during the months of October till end of February. True adventures of the beaten path for equestrian explorers only!
